It’s an ongoing problem that the ‘Sperrmüllbanditen’ are drawing attention to through their creative actions. Disguised, they build ‘living rooms’ out of hard rubbish in public spaces under the cover of night.
Together with the author Victor Meuche, I documented their latest effort for taz.
Crammed together in the back of the van, we approached the University of Potsdam. A quick knock on the door, it opens, and in no time at all a ‘living room’ takes shape right in the middle of the main gates, waiting to be discovered in the morning.
