Editorial for KATER DEMOS MAGAZINE #5, April 2018.

Brown coal is one of the major energy sources in Germany. Accompanying the author Raimon Klein I visited the largest coal mine in east Germany. Due to its ongoing expansion, local people are forced to move away in order to make space for the mining, leaving entire villages empty and waiting to be destroyed.
